One of the perks of working in an industry like ours is that you’re almost forced — in the best way possible — to be on the up-and-up with the latest news and happenings in the area. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve whipped into a shopping center or craned my neck around because I’ve seen fresh signage advertising a new-to-me shop. Atlanta is a bustling place for new businesses, and it’s always keeping me and my fellow StyleBlueprint ladies on our toes. While there are always new shops popping up for us to explore, today we’re sharing three of our current Atlanta stores we love. Here’s our A to E guide to three must-see shops:

3 Atlanta Stores You’ll Love

3719 Old Alabama Road, Johns Creek, GA 30022
Hours: Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Located OTP, Accentrics is well worth the quick drive to explore some unique finds in home decor. The shop is family-owned by three design-minded women: mother Carol McClure, daughter Alison Baker, and daughter-in-law Laney McClure. While the business originally began as a West Coast establishment nearly 40 years ago, it has found its forever home in Johns Creek. Accentrics is your go-to shop for home accessories, art, lighting, furniture, custom upholstery, floral design and gifts, but they also have one important trick up their sleeve: a full interior design studio through their in-house designer (and daughter mentioned above!), Alison. Throughout the inviting, eclectic store, visitors will find detail-oriented vignettes seamlessly styled, so you can easily imagine their pieces in your own home. When asked what they want clients to know about Accentrics, the team says, “We truly care about customers’ needs and wants and hope to help them achieve exactly what they envision.” Visit the shop to see your own dreams come to life.

Coton Colors

3872 Roswell Road NE, Ste. A8, Atlanta, GA 30342
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Closed Sundays

Atlanta’s first Coton Colors flagship opened mid-December, just in time for the holidays. As one of the South’s premier entertaining brands, Coton Colors puts a little happy in everything. This flagship location, the third in the South, is owned and operated by founder Laura Johnson’s niece, Taylor Gwynn. Tucked in Buckhead’s reimagined Buckhead Court shopping center, Coton Colors is flanked by fun and friendly neighbors like Huff Harrington and Superica. While Atlanta is no stranger to Coton Colors’ products, the flagship store is truly an experience of its own. “The idea behind our flagship store is to create an avenue for customers to truly experience what Coton Colors is all about,” says Taylor. She continues, “We will soon be offering fun events and workshops like flower arranging classes, how to decorate your table, preparing a gift closet and more. We want to make celebrating and decorating fun and easy!” The store incorporates Coton Colors’ signature items along with a curated selection of additional products. Perhaps our favorite aspect of the store, if we had to choose, is the plate wall where customers (and brides to be!) can mix-and-match dishes to create a signature, happy style.

Streamlined couches welcome you from the moment you step into Coton Colors. Owner Taylor Gwynn says, “All of the product in our store are brands curated from our family – four of us have the couches in our own home.” Image: Coton Colors Atlanta

EcoHome Atlanta

2385 Peachtree Road NE, Suite A1E, Atlanta, GA 30305
Hours: Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sundays noon to 6 p.m.

EcoHome Atlanta is a small shop with a big mission. After working in the retail space for decades, and most notably at Atlanta’s AmericasMart for 31 years, owner Lawton Hall saw a need in our market for luxury, eco-friendly gifts for the home. EcoHome Atlanta, a shop containing 15 categories of sustainable products, was born. After a short stint on Roswell Road, the shop has recently found a new home in Peachtree Battle. Perusing the store, visitors will discover creative hostess gifts, organic baby products, stunning glassware, eco-friendly pet items, handcrafted jewelry, men’s gifts and more. There’s something for everyone, and probably a few somethings for yourself, too. Interestingly, many of EcoHome Atlanta’s products are exclusive to the shop, and several are making their debut within its sunlit walls. We were gaga for Lucy Hagerty’s La Bougie Candles, but of course were smitten by the baby and kids products, too. SB TIP: For the ultimate showstopping surcee, pick up one of EcoHome Atlanta’s gift boxes, which are available at a variety of price points and are made from reclaimed wood.
