Where to Spend NYE in the ATL
New Year’s Bubble Bash, Children’s Museum
Nothing says New Year’s Eve like bubbles. Take your kids to countdown to 2018 at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta. They will enjoy a dance party, special guests, bubble wrap fireworks and much more. There are two convenient countdowns, one at noon and one at 4 p.m., but be sure to purchase your tickets ahead of time as they will not be sold at the door. Noon Year’s Eve, Fernbank
Grab the kids and celebrate Noon Year’s Eve at Fernbank. A fun event for the entire family, the festivities include bubbles with the Georgia Bubbleman, a resolution station, games and dancing, treats by GoGo squeeZ and a countdown balloon drop at noon. Noon Year’s Eve, LEGOLAND
For another Noon Year’s Eve for the family, look no further than LEGOLAND. LEGO enthusiasts and novices alike will enjoy the countdown to noon surrounded by their favorite building blocks. Arrive before noon to see over 600 balloons fall from the ceiling and receive a special Noon Year’s gift. Then, make your way to see (and help!) the LEGO FUNgineers with their 2018 group build. Band of Horses, Coca-Cola Roxy
Help Atlanta’s new and improved Coca-Cola Roxy bid farewell to its inaugural year at the Battery with Band of Horses. Widespread Panic at the Fox Theatre
Back for another New Year’s Eve stint in Atlanta, Widespread Panic is playing the Fox Theatre for not one, not two, but three nights (December 29-31). Super fans can purchase a three-day, three-concert package starting at $276 (plus taxes and fees), or individual concert tickets just for the New Year’s Eve show are available starting at $92. Yacht Rock Review at Park Tavern

With two prix fixe menus, 10 Degrees South is treating Atlanta residents to two fantastic South African-inspired meals this New Year’s Eve. Featuring signature dishes like grilled calamari with lemon-caper butter sauce and peri-peri chicken spring rolls, the menu is sure to please. Of course no meal at 10 Degrees South is complete without Di’s Delight, a spongecake served with vanilla ice cream. Honoring steakhouse traditions with a few new touches, the Battery’s C. Ellet’s will be ringing in the new year in style. Join Inman Park’s Hampton + Hudson for their dress up or down New Year’s Eve party. If you’re looking for a casual countdown with friends, head to Ladybird for New Year’s Eve. You won’t find a cover, reservations or a prix fixe menu, but you will find loads of fun.
