Do you have the nerve to go to the best rated haunted house in all of the U.S.? Hauntworld Magazine has rated Netherworld the top haunted house each year since 2009. On top of amazing actors and all-too-real scenes, the haunted house also features creepy escape rooms and a Monster Museum. If you are traveling from afar, they have various lodging at hotels close to the Netherworld that they suggest. Walk through the darkest and most haunting attraction … at your own risk! Tickets for Sunday through Thursday are $23, and tickets on Friday and Saturday are $25.

13 Stories Haunted House

Are you ready for a haunting experience where the actors can actually touch you? The Inside Sacrifice attraction at 13 Stories has extreme content where the monsters can actually touch the guests. Join forces with your team in a laser tag fight against zombies in the Apocolypse Zombie Killing Experience. An all-access pass to all the attractions is $45. Single attractions range from $6 to $22. With 54,000 square feet of pure horror, you are bound to leave absolutely terrified (if you can make it through!)

Containment Haunted House

Navigate your way through 26 shipping containers in complete and total confinement. Containment isn’t your ordinary haunted house build, these shipping containers have walls, floors and roofs and are linked together by mazes and hallways. Guests truly feel like they have no way out of the horrors they encounter. This haunted house doesn’t rely on animations to create a scare — they create situations through their actors that will place guests in the middle of the chaos. Tickets start at $22. Nightmare’s Gate

Walk the halls of an eerie hospital setting where the patients with no cure are looking for someone to latch on to. The nurses, doctors and priests who have tried to help have become victims of whatever is making the patients go crazy. No one is safe! Navigate the halls the best you can because if they touch you, you are infected. No modern medicine can save the people at Nightmare’s Gate. Tickets are available online or at the door for $25.

Zombie Farms

There’s something about traveling through a dark forest on foot that makes it extra spooky. Although being followed by zombies and other scary characters seems terrifying, Zombie Farms is a more light-hearted type of haunting experience. The characters will either scare you, entertain you or even sometimes make you laugh! Make your way through this less than a mile long trail for $25.

Breakout Atlanta: The Kidnapping

Escape from danger while the clock is ticking! Breakout Atlanta is offering a Halloween experience where guests will be “kidnapped” and handcuffed as they wait for their kidnapper to return. Players will have to solve puzzles, crack codes and find clues to attempt to set free the team member who has been kidnapped. While players are looking for these clues, they may run the risk of getting lost in the chilly and spooky mansion. Get an adrenaline rush without the gore of the usual haunted houses. Tickets are $27.99.

Fear the Woods

Get dropped off in the middle of the dark woods with the haunted Skinner family, and you’ll want to find your way out as fast as you can! Stay close to friends, as there are new and even scarier creatures this year. This haunt consists of three attractions: The Haunted House, the Haunted Trail and the Pandemic, a new 8,000 square foot interactive and competitive combat field where your skills determine your fate. Choose any or all of Fear the Wood’s attractions and your experience will be equally as memorable as it is terrifying. Each attraction is $19, and there is a combo pack available for $33.

Fright Fest at Six Flags

Six Flags Over Georgia is happy-go-lucky during the day but turns into a complete fear fest as soon as dusk falls. In addition to the thrill of the amusement rides, Six Flags turns into one giant haunted house! Hundreds of zombies and monsters walk the grounds, as you make your way to some of their special haunted attractions. There will be haunted mazes, multiple Scare Zones, horrifying live performances and added effects to the already thrilling rides. Experience Six Flags in a new light … or should we say darkness? Tickets start at $41.99.
