Artville is a new three-day visual art festival in Nashville’s Wedgewood Houston and Chestnut Hill neighborhoods. This first-of-its-kind public event hosts a conversation with Derrick Adams, a multi-disciplinary artist whose work is centered around themes of Black culture in America. Artville also includes a reimagined American Artisan Festival @ Artville, a curated selection of Nashville’s contemporary art galleries and dealers collectively exhibiting some of their top local and national artists, an After-Dark series of interactive art experiences, music and entertainment, artisanal food, beer, and wine, as well as kids’ art programming. The event is free with a handful of ticketed events. artville.org
