A Healthy Snack: Roasted Chickpeas

  • 1 15 oz can of chickpeas or garbonzo beans
  • olive oil
  • spices or herbs of your choice
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Drain and wash chickpeas
  3. Lay chickpeas on a layer of paper towels and dry thoroughly
  4. Remove any loose skins
  5. Spray with olive oil and add seasonings (salt, paprika, cayenne pepper, and chopped parsley are a wonderful combination)
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, rolling chickpeas around halfway through.
