Set a weekend apart for some good old-fashioned fun! Hodges Family Farm wants all guests to enjoy family time, unplugged from the real world, as they enjoy the hayrides, farm animals and sweet treats. The farm offers a free self-guided tour of the farm and its animals and plenty of picnic space at the end of it all. Admission is free. Hayrides are $5 and pumpkins start at $5 depending on size. Guests can bring their own food for the picnics and the farm offers light beverages for purchase.

Do you think you could complete a five acre corn maze? Well, here’s your chance to challenge yourself at the Hall Family Farm corn maze. The farm’s hayride has a little musical twist as guests listen to tunes while being taken around the farm. Hop on in a pedal go kart for a 15 minute ride for $2. Spend some time in the pumpkin picking area and pick out your perfect pumpkin! The corn maze is $8, the kids corn maze is $2, hayrides are $3.25, and all kids activities are free. The farm also offers private bonfires at $60 for two hours.

Imagine this — 20 to 25 acres of pumpkins for as far as you can see. For 27 years, Riverbend Farm has been taking guests out in four large wagons throughout the acres to find the best pumpkin and gourds suitable for them. The farm is most known for their playground with the famous “Slidezilla.” The playground has about six crazy slides for visitors to try out! Picnic areas are provided, but guests are told to bring their own picnic food. Tickets are $5.50 for ages two and over.

When the family love and care goes into everything they grow, you know it will be a very sweet visit! During the fall, you can pick your own pumpkin that has been grown with love, find your way through the free corn maze, play in the giant corn pit and take a wagon ride through the woods. Kids can ride on their barrel train, play on the playground and meet the farm animals. All this activity has to get the appetite going, so the farm offers locally sourced Wise Pie Wood Fire pizza. Apple cider slushies (YUM), popcorn and cotton candy are also available. The corn pit is $3, wagon ride is $3, and barrel train is $2. Otherwise, enjoy the fresh farm air for no cost at all!

Try your best to find your way through Rural Hill’s seven acre corn maze with two miles of interconnecting paths! When you finally find your way out, take a ride around the farm in the hayride, play a round of corn-hole, explore their historic site, let the kids play in the mini corn mazes, hike the trails and of course, pick a pumpkin. Picnic areas are available for a sit-down lunch, but bring your own snacks. Get the family together to play the famous Rural Maize Maze — a game of confusion and fun with multiple stations to figure out how to navigate your way out through clues. Day mazes are $11 and $8 for children. Night mazes are $16 and $11 for children.

The more attractions the better! Patterson Farm doesn’t lack in the entertainment department. On top of pumpkin picking, there is a barnyard, corn pit, fake cow milking, a treasure mine, a pumpkin princess event, pony rides, a playground, duck races, barnyard ball zone and plenty more games to keep the young ones entertained! When you’ve finished with the endless amount of entertainment, hop on over to the farm’s market for fresh vegetables, eggs and other foods. There is also an ice cream shop for the sweet toothers. General admission is $10, and $14 if you want to try the Maize Maze.

Bring the whole family to hunt for the ultimate perfect pumpkin! Take a hay wagon ride out to the patch, hop out and go after all the pumpkins in the field. The hayride will also take you to the milk barn and the petting barn, where guests can feed the animals. Hunter Farm has food truck Saturdays, where various food trucks will be lined up for guests to try. Nighttime at Hunter Farm provides bonfires and night time hay rides as well! Admission is $10 for adults and $9 for children. Children under two and their grandparents enter and ride free.
