June 1-3, 2017: Charlotte Ballet’s Inspired Works
The Charlotte Ballet presents Inspired Works, a performance to honor Director Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux. June 2, 2017: Mint to Move Cultural Dance Night
Dig out your dancing shoes for a night of moving and grooving at the Mint Museum Uptown. Join a DJ and live musical acts to enjoy Afro-Cuban and Latin-American tunes that embrace a variety of cultures. Make sure to get there in time for free dance lessons at 9 p.m. to learn anywhere from salsa to cha cha to line dancing to merengue moves. Admission is $8.50 for members and $12 for non-members. June 3, 2017: Keep Pounding 5K Stadium Run
Start stretching and join the Carolina Panthers in a 5K fundraising run to benefit the Levine Cancer Institute and Levine Children’s Hospital. The race begins at Levine Cancer Institute and participants finish out strong at the Carolina Panthers Practice Field. Register today to “Keep Pounding” in the fight against cancer. June 3 & 4, 2017: Repticon Charlotte Reptile & Exotic Animal Show
If you sense an intrepid spirit creeping up on you, mark your calendars for Repticon Reptile and Exotic Animal Convention at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center. This leader in exotic animal showcases is making a stop in Charlotte to put on seminars and present hands-on learning opportunities. June 4, 2017: Farm to Fork Picnic
Step away from the grocery store aisles and join regional farmers and chefs for a picnic of delicious dishes, local brews, and live music at Fearrington Village in Pittsboro. This year, the Farm to Fork Picnic celebrates its 10th anniversary with 35 chefs, each paired with a local farm, to prepare seasonal and fresh meals for attendees. June 4, 2017: Charlotte Symphony Summer Pops: Hooray For Hollywood
If memorable movie musical musings are always in your head and heart, pencil into your calendar this night at Symphony Park. Charlotte Symphony kicks off its weekly summer series, Summer Pops, with Hooray for Hollywood, a concert in the park featuring music from favorite blockbuster hits. June 9 & 10, 2017: Groverfest Music Festival
Get ready for a weekend of banjo picking and soulful southern croons at the Groverfest Music Festival at Fiddlers Grove in Union Grove. June 13, 2017 : Wheels of Soul Summer Tour Tap Party & You Drink, We Donate
