November 30 & December 1-3, 2017: Magic Christmas
Listen to your favorite holiday carols performed by the Charlotte Symphony at Belk Theater. Through December 31, 2017: Speedway Christmas
Speedway Christmas at Charlotte Motor Speedway includes a three-mile course of over 3,000,000 holiday lights throughout the grounds with a lights-to-music drive-thru section, two full tunnels of lights, a beautiful 12 Days of Christmas display in the grandstands, a huge lights-to-music course through the new road course and themed displays along the course. December 2, 2017: A Candle Light Christmas at Historic Latta Plantation
Step back in time and see what Christmas was like for the Latta family in 1828 during Candle Light Christmas at Historic Latta Plantation. From ballroom dancing in the parlor to the dinner table being set, guests will get to experience the holiday as they would have centuries ago. There will also be a live nativity and music. December 2, 2017: The Ninth Annual Red Pump/Red Tie Affair
The Affair is a benefit gala brought to you by the Red Pump Project, held annually to commemorate World AIDS Day, that effectively fuses fashion and philanthropy. The primary goal of this event is to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS among women. The Affair will include live entertainment, a cocktail reception with a silent auction, fashion presentations and more. December 2, 2017: Dr. Pepper ACC Championship Football Game

December 3, 2017: Holiday Tea & Shopping at The Duke Mansion
What better way to kick off the holiday season than to spend it sipping tea at the historic Duke Mansion? December 5, 2017: The Jazz Room: Holiday Edition Celebration Piano Night
Join the most swingin’ holiday season celebration in town at the Jazz Room Holiday Edition Piano Night on Tuesday, December 5 at the Booth Playhouse. The evening features five of the region’s most gifted jazz pianists and guest artists performing your favorite holiday classics, with a special performance from the JAI All-Stars. December 19, 2017: The Salisbury Symphony Presents Christmas Excerpts from Messiah
The Salisbury Symphony and the Salisbury Symphony Chorale present their first holiday concert of Christmas excerpts from Handel’s ever-popular Messiah. The concert will take place on Tuesday, December 19 at 6.30 p.m. This concert is part of the inaugural season for the newly formed 40 member-strong Salisbury Symphony Chorale, which has already earned a reputation as a leading choral society in the region following their highly acclaimed concert with St. John’s Lutheran Church as part of the celebration of the Reformation’s 500th anniversary.
