The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom features modern decor with hints of tradition, as well as a private foyer that is perfect for a cocktail reception prior to dinner and dancing. It can be divided into different sections to accommodate anywhere from 80 to 400 guests.
The Urban Garden — Capacity: 100
One of Charlotte’s most unique and luxurious event spaces, the Urban Garden provides a location for guests to dance the night away under the treetops while taking in the view of Charlotte’s iconic skyline. Duke Mansion

If you’re looking for the quintessential Southern atmosphere, there is no place quite like the Duke Mansion. The beautiful 1915 house in the Myers Park neighborhood offers the total package, complete with breathtaking gardens for your photos. The lush Barnhardt Terrace or McGuire Lawn create the perfect backdrop for a beautiful outdoor ceremony, and the reception has room for 150 wedding guests. All food and beverage are provided by the on-staff culinary team, and there are also 20 hotel rooms in the mansion for out of town guests.

Wild Hope Farm

This serene setting located in Chester, South Carolina, just 45 minutes from Charlotte, offers the perfect backdrop for an outdoor celebration and has some pretty unique amenities. (Guests can spend the night in a yurt on property!) This rural farm run by the Belk family provides a perfect destination with wooded trails, picturesque silos, rolling pastures that are lined with old oak trees, and sunsets that are mirrored on the 10-acre pond. There is a small farmhouse that can accommodate a seated dinner for 18, or you can choose to throw the party entirely outdoors. Brides love the giant oak tree at the heart of the property.
Mint Museum Randolph

At Mint Museum Randolph, take part in the region’s rich history inside a unique cultural treasure surrounded by a serene park setting. Located in what was the original branch of the United States Mint, it opened in 1936 in Charlotte’s Eastover neighborhood as the first art museum in North Carolina. The historic terrace with views of the Mint’s original 1836 façade, capped off by the museum’s signature golden eagle, can accommodate 225 for outdoor events or ceremonies. Many couples also choose to take advantage of the spacious front lawn. The grounds are surrounded by foliage and gardens that are maintained by the Charlotte Garden Club.
Triple C Barrel Room

The owners of the popular Triple C Brewing Company were getting so many requests to host private parties in the working side of the brewery that when the 10,000-square-foot warehouse across the street came open, they jumped on it, turning it into what is now the Triple C Barrel Room. The laidback venue quickly became a popular place for all kinds of events, with Best Impressions Caterers handling the food. Guests can take advantage of the 4,400-square-foot banquet hall, an outdoor patio and a floor-to-ceiling glass wall with views of the new seven-barrel brewhouse.

Mint Museum Uptown

At Mint Museum Uptown, you can enjoy beautiful cityscape views, breathtaking architecture and stunning works of art all under one roof in the heart of Uptown Charlotte. Take advantage of the Grand Room, a 4,009-square-foot space, that can seat up to 225 people for a formal dinner or hold 400 people for a standing reception. The dramatic semi-covered terrace offers additional outdoor entertaining space. The multi-story atrium is also available to host private events. The 4,000-square-foot event space will accommodate up to 180 people for a seated dinner or 400+ for a standing reception. Finally, the Museum’s sheltered terrace offers open-air views of Charlotte’s cityscape, the Mint’s grand staircase and the beautiful architecture of Levine Center for the Arts.

The Terrace At Cedar Hill

This brand new 6,500-square-foot venue is also in a 1920s building (that once housed the A&P grocery chain’s bakery) and features an incredible 2,000-square-foot covered terrace that overlooks the city and has wide open glass panels that retract, allowing guests to flow in and out.
Byron’s South End

Capacity: 150-450
Byron’s South End first opened in 2003, long before South End was the hottest zip code in the city. Located in a historic 1920’s knitting mill, the space still has the look and feel of the mill with much of the original brick and exposed wood ceilings. It was recently renovated and expanded, with catering moved to a bigger, nearby facility.
Carrigan Farms Rock Quarry
1261 Oakridge Farm Hwy., Mooresville, NC 28115

There really is nothing else like this in the Charlotte area. Carrigan Farms in Mooresville is about an hour from Charlotte and is a fifth generation working farm that also has some of the most beautiful settings you’ll find in the region. The Quarry on the property is a perfect blend of mountain and beach. Its natural granite walls define the private location and rise to 70 feet, offering a stunning backdrop for a wedding. The Quarry’s curving boardwalk, filtering into a white sugar-sand beach, is reminiscent of time-honored beach style. The adjacent covered pavilion and a beautiful grassy area are charming. From small to large, casual to elegant, just about anything goes at this venue.
