For the 14th year in a row, the Junior League of Birmingham will hold one of its longest standing fundraisers, Shop Save & Share. Card holders have the opportunity to shop local businesses and save money while sharing in making a difference in the lives of women and children. Basically, you can shop til’ you drop without the guilt. To participate, just buy a $40 Shop Save & Share card. The card literally pays for itself because it provides a 20 percent discount on merchandise, food, and memberships at more than 400 participating stores and restaurants throughout the Birmingham area and all proceeds go back into the community. Popular retailers participating include Kendra Scott, Alabama Outdoors, Bromberg’s, Birmingham Zoo Memberships, Soca Clothing, and THREE15. This year there are 70 new stores including Anthropologie, The Woolworth, The
White Room, Woodhouse Day Spa, Dreamcakes Bakery, and Holland & Birch here in Homewood. This fundraiser raises money for the League’s more than 30 community placements. Since its inception, Shop Save & Share has put more than
$700,000 back into the community. For more information, visit shopsaveandshare.net.
