The Gala in The Gardens, sponsored by Stifel, kicked off the Birmingham Botanical Gardens annual Antiques at The Gardens weekend. The gala was a tremendous affair, complete with gorgeous showcases of interior designers, artists and antiques dealers from across the Southeast. The men looked dapper in their bow ties and the women wore a colorful array of fun fashions, from elegant full-length formal wear to flirty high-end cocktail attire. A lovely spread of food, catered by Kathy G and Company, was anchored by a jaw-dropping floral centerpiece, and live music in the outdoor tent kept the party hopping late into the night.
The Antiques at the Gardens is the premiere annual fundraiser that supports the incredible educational outreach initiatives that the Birmingham Botanical Gardens provides to a wide range of Birminghamians. Since 2006, the Antiques at the Gardens event has raised over $3 million for the Botanical Gardens. And this gala celebrated the Botanical Gardens worthy mission with style. The event was a mashup of elegant fashion, delicious food, rollicking music and dancing, breathtaking art, stunning antiques and good company!
