The Southern Kitchen & Bar Rooftop

If you want to have a true night out on the town this July 4th, grab your friends and head to The Southern Kitchen & Bar for their Fourth of July Rooftop Firework Watch Party. This is The Southern’s first official rooftop party of the year, so it’s sure to be a popular event. Arrive early to stake your space and order your favorite meal! SB TIP: The Ribeye Mac & Cheese is a must-try menu item.

UAB Parking Deck

One of the best-kept secrets for viewing the show is this UAB parking deck tucked away in downtown Birmingham. Head to the corner of 5th Avenue South and 16th Street South, and drive to the top for an incredible view of the fireworks. Please be mindful of others and arrive after working hours.

Redmont Hotel

Get one of the best views in town at The Roof at the Redmont Hotel. Grab your favorite cocktail and kick back as you enjoy the show. Space is limited, so arrive early to secure the perfect seat.

Brookwood Village

Brookwood Village is a great spot to watch the fireworks show with the whole family. The parking lot at Brookwood is very large, so you can spread out, drop the tailgate, and view the show while practicing social distancing.

Homewood Central Park

If you’re looking for a space to watch the show with lots of room for the kids to run, Homewood Central Park is for you. While the annual Fourth of July Festival is canceled, this is still a great spot to view the fireworks show. Be sure to maintain six feet of distance between others, and enjoy!

Moon Shine at the Elyton Hotel

Elevate yourself 16 stories above the streets of downtown Birmingham to catch the fireworks show this year. Moon Shine atop the Elyton Hotel provides a great view! Enjoy a tasty pizza from their hearth oven and a delectable cocktail while you’re there.

Campus Green at UAB

Bring a lawn chair and stake your place on the Campus Green at UAB. Located on 9th Avenue South in downtown Birmingham, this area has plenty of space to practice social distancing as you and your family enjoy the show. Make plans to arrive early and allow time for parking, as spaces downtown are limited.

Watch from Home

Want to watch the show from the comfort of your home? No problem. WBRC Fox6 News is streaming the fireworks live beginning at 9 p.m. Put on your favorite pair of pajamas and relax as you watch the best show in Birmingham from your couch.

However you decide to spend the holiday, we hope it is safe, fun, full of lots of great food and of course, fireworks. Happy Fourth of July, Birmingham!
