As your social calendar heats up alongside that Southern Alabama sun, July can be a tough month to stay calm, collected and, most importantly, cool. The festival is a nationally recognized event and is a great way to celebrate all the wonder and talent of Magic City! If you’re looking to beat the heat, there is plenty of fun to be had indoors with Beauty and the Beast, Jr. playing at the Virginia Samford Theatre. Birmingham’s second annual Sloss Music & Arts Festival is back and even better than last year. With a lineup featuring Ryan Adams, Fitz & The Tantrums, Ray Lamontagne, Grouplove and others, you can’t miss out on this weekend!
