February has our hearts pitter-pattering and ready to celebrate! This month, we’re offering style suggestions for three exciting upcoming events that deserve a spot on your social calendar — The Birmingham Winter Brew Fest, Woo at the Zoo and Camp Smile-A-Mile’s Red Nose Ball are Birmingham’s can’t-miss February soirées. We’ve teamed up with the style experts at The Clothes Tree by Deborah, Wrapsody of Hoover and Manhattan South to provide you with a few fashionable options ideal for each celebration.
Our models, the fabulous and talented women of Realty South, shine bright in these local fashions at Stephanie Robinson‘s listing, 125 Greenbriar Lane. Architect Chip Gardner of Gardner Architects designed the ultimate English Country three-story home complete with four spacious rooms, four-and-a-half baths, a third-floor playroom and a welcoming open floor plan. The house is flooded with natural light, and its wood beams are highlighted by crisp, white lines and marble accents. Plus, situated on an unusually large lot in Crestline, this property affords expansive, flat lawns with privacy, an outdoor patio with a fireplace and child-friendly activities just a few steps away.

Do you spend your weekends exploring Birmingham’s brewery scene? Then this is the event for you. Back for another year of delicious brews, fabulous entertainment and a full day of fun, the Birmingham Winter Brew Fest will feature more than 80 beers from both local and regional breweries, live entertainment from Livewire, a Sam Adams Brew University and more. This is the perfect event for escaping the cold and appreciating Birmingham’s beer scene.
What to Wear: Attire for this event is all about staying casual. An all-day festival requires comfortable yet stylish layers and an easy-to-wear ensemble. Wrapsody of Hoover helped us create two fabulous looks. The first features flattering pastel shades and a versatile cardigan, while the other takes casual comfort and turns it up a bit with some edgy leather leggings. Either is sure to impress!

Make this Valentine’s Day unforgettable by spending it at the Birmingham Zoo! This year’s Woo at the Zoo will include small bites, beer, a wine sampling and a romantic stroll through the zoo’s predator building while animal experts introduce you to the impressive animals and discuss “love in the animal kingdom.” Attendees will also receive a souvenir champagne flute and photo to commemorate the evening.
What to Wear: Why not get gussied up for your sweetie this year? We worked with the always stylish and sophisticated Manhattan South to create three fun and festive looks that will make your valentine swoon. There’s nothing better than getting dolled up and enjoying a romantic night out on the town!
The Event: Red Nose Ball

Step out in style this month for the Camp Smile-A-Mile’s 26th Annual Red Nose Ball. This annual fundraiser brings more than 1,000 attendees to an exciting silent auction, delicious seated dinner and a sophisticated evening complete with live music, dancing, a live auction, complimentary wine and beer, a photo booth and the chance to raise money and awareness to provide hope and healing for families struggling through childhood cancer. This is the best way to finish off your February.
What to Wear: The Red Nose Ball calls for fancy cocktail attire, somewhere right in the middle of cocktail and black tie, and who better to provide style options than The Clothes Tree by Deborah?! We suggest going for flattering statement pieces, like these head-turning dresses. Or, if you prefer a darker hue, these sparkling styles are spot on for your elegant evening out.
Have a fun — and stylish — February!
