Happy April, Birmingham! We’ve finally made it to the season of sunshine, family-filled days and spring parties galore. From this month’s Easter outings and spring soirées to next month’s graduation parties, Mother’s Day celebrations and Memorial Day parties, our wardrobes could use a warm-weather refresh. Temps remain a bit unpredictable, so it can be difficult to find something stylish, comfortable and easy to wear. So, for this month’s What to Wear, we’re mixing things up a bit to bring you seven breezy and beautiful options for staying cool and stylish at your upcoming events.
Set at the iconic backdrop of Railroad Park, today’s gorgeous models, members of the Junior League of Birmingham and this year’s Bargain Bash and Bargain Carousel co-chairs, Kristen Osbourne, Stacey Summerville and Cameal Jackson, are showing off six chic dresses and one fashion-forward spring layer look, all found locally at The Mercantile by Miller, Manhattan South and Wrapsody.
Let’s get to styling!

And, because Birmingham’s weather is never truly predictable, we included a layered option that nods to the season’s colors while catering to our gals who don’t necessarily love a sundress. Belt this orange shirt dress and pair with some wedges, or wear it open with your favorite tank and denim.
Thank you to Kristen, Stacey and Cameal of the Junior League of Birmingham for modeling today’s looks and to Manhattan South, Wrapsody and The Mercantile by Miller for supplying the fabulous garments.
And thank you to Eric & Jamie Gay of Eric & Jamie Photography for the fabulous photos of our models!
