We’re kicking off a month of “Wedding Wednesdays” with a gorgeous affair! On a cold day last February, interior designer Courtney Giles married her beau, Chris Decker. And, seeing as Courtney is one of Atlanta’s top designers, the details of their Atlanta wedding were just impeccable!
Courtney and Chris chose to have a smaller family ceremony followed by a larger reception at Summerour with their friends and family. Out of town weddings are always nice, but there is something to be said for getting married in your hometown.
For the reception at Summerour, Courtney and Chris chose to do a seated dinner. They used a mix of long and round tables, which I think is a great choice for any event, as It breaks up your eye and keeps the room interesting.
I have to say the flowers by Steve Bales from Bold American are some of the most beautiful flowers I have seen!
While I love a good cocktail party I always appreciate when bride and groom choose to host a seated dinner at their wedding.
This shot just takes my breath away! It looks like a delicate flower, but it is really their cake!
And, if this is not the most amazing get-away picture I have ever seen! It looks like Courtney and Chris are walking down a street somewhere in Italy!
Thanks so much to Courtney and Chris for letting us share pictures of their special day! Happy Anniversary!
And, thanks so much to 6 of Four for the beautiful pictures! Not only do I think Courtney’s pictures are beautiful, but I also loved working with them at my own wedding!
