Pincushion Plants

How adorable are these tiny plants from Willow Green? Their proper name is Coral Beads, but we think Pincushion is mighty appropriate. Would look fabulous as a grouping on an end table or along a windowsill.

Pincushion Plants from Willow Green. $14 each

NaturAlmond Almond Butter

We knew we would love this locally made almond butter when we read the seriously short list of simple ingredients; just roasted almonds and sea salt. We have been dipping a spoon in, spreading it on our morning toast, and having it as an afternoon snack with carrots all summer long. And we must be on to something, because Oprah recently declared it her favorite almond butter. NaturAlmond can be found all over town including Whole Foods, Lucy’s Market, Savi Urban Market, and Oli + Ve.

Notice that this jar is almost completely empty? Yeah, we love NaturAlmond! $14

Sesame Cashews from Trader Joe’s

We can not keep our hands away from these sesame cashews from Trader Joe’s. A perfect combination of sweet and salty, the bag is usually opened on the way home because they are just. so. good.

Trader Joe’s Sesame Honey Cashews. $5.99

Cotton T with Leather Sleeves

A perfect item for fall! This simple T-shirt from Hemline is made fashionably appropriate with a bit of leather. And, at only $39 it is the perfect price to indulge in a trend, but not break the bank.

Cotton and leather t-shirt at Hemline Vinings. $39.99

Perfect Clutch for Fall

Okay, who are we kidding? This is not just the perfect clutch for fall, but for three other seasons as well! Great with jeans but fun with a dress as well. $172 and comes in a mustard yellow as well. This one will have people asking “Wherever did you get that?!” Pick up this great clutch locally at Kayce Hughes, located in Westside Provision District.

Lady Like from Essie

Lady Like from Essie is one of my all time favorite polish colors. And others must like it too, because every time I wear it people ask me for the name. I popped into Sugarcoat last week and since I was in a hurry, I got their “express” manicure. I was in and out in under 30 minutes, with a fresh coat of Lady Like, and only spent $12 (plus tip!). We call that a deal!

Lady Like from Essie. And a $12 Express manicure from Sugarcoat!

The Bitter Southerner

The Bitter Southerner, a weekly web magazine featuring one story about the South, it’s culture and it’s people, is a must read every Tuesday. If you love Garden & Gun magazine, you will love this!

Photo Editing

The StyleBlueprint team takes a lot of photos, so we always want to know about tools and applications that will make our photos looks prettier and brighter. Recently, our social media guru Linda let us know about Pic Monkey, a website, and Snapseed, an app. We think they make photo editing easy (which usually isn’t the case!) and we love the results!

Pic Monkey is a website to edit photos on your computer.

Snapseed is an app for your phone or iPad to edit your photos and apply filters to them. You can then upload your photo to Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter.

Welcome, fall! We’re glad to see you!!

Be sure to check out what our other SB sister cities have on their FINDS lists today, too!
