This is when we wish we had a staff of reporters to go get the inside scoop, but at the end of the day, we are simply helping to get the word out that Parker Uniforms, which operated stores throughout the South and Midwest, has closed. If your children attend schools that require uniforms provided solely from Parker, and perhaps you are waiting for an order, please work with your school for updates. As of now, the Parker Uniforms’ website and Facebook page are down. Their Instagram page is currently up and says, “Since 1931, we’ve been doing our best to be the best … for every customer, every time. That’s the cut of our cloth.” and their Twitter page is also still active stating, “Quality School Uniforms for more than 80 years! The most trusted uniform supplier in America.”
Parker Uniforms Stores: Closed
This is a sad day for both a business that has been around for over 80 years and for thousands of parents, many of whom were still purchasing through the Parker Uniforms website up until the site went down, which seems to have happened at some point in the past 24 hours.
For now, this is what we know from three schools across the region:
From Westminster Academy Memphis:
From St. Cecilia Catholic School in Houston, TX:
From Franklin Road Academy in Nashville, TN:
