When it comes to fashion, StyleBlueprint often talks about trends and “what you should wear right now” (and these items definitely have a place in our closets). But, we are also big believers in the classics: a great button down shirt, the perfect pair of jeans, a beautiful wrap dress. Clothing designer, Kayce Hughes is also a big believer in beautiful clothes in classic silhouettes, which is why her store on the Westside consistently has some of our favorite pieces in town.
While Kayce Hughes is often drawn to the classic silhouette, she puts a fabulous twist on them by using fun colors and patterns that often have a vintage look to them.
And as a mother of seven kids (yes, seven!), Kayce knows how to make beautiful children’s clothing. These are not the kind of clothes that you buy to dress one child. The quality construction and adorable patterns of the children’s clothing line will have you handing them down, child after child.
Right now, we are seriously loving her collection of dresses. Made of a lightweight cotton, the long sleeves (rolled up or down) make the dresses a perfect transitional piece as we head into fall. Just pair with your favorite wedge heel for warm days or a pair of boots for the days when we have a slight chill in the air.
This denim dress is also a perfect transitional piece. And because Kayce uses high quality denim, the dress just gets softer with each wear and wash.
Kayce Hughes always has a great selection of accessories. They frequently update their collection of clutches, jewelry, statement rings and necklaces. You will find yourself constantly reaching for her pieces to complete your outfit.
Kayce Hughes and her team are also big supporters of local schools. If your school is interested in hosting an event at the store, contact the store manager, Rachel.
Next Saturday, September, 20th the store is hosting a trunk a trunk show featuring Mark Kent Hearon’s knot necklaces that we featured in our June FINDS.
The Westside is truly turning into the best areas of Atlanta. And we are so glad that Kayce Hughes is part of this must-shop part of town! www.kaycehughes.com
