With couples often marrying at their favorite beach destination or mountain getaway, I think we often forget about a classic city wedding. But, that is exactly what today’s couple, Kemper and Kevin Brennan, envisioned for their day in July. From the beginning Kemper and Kevin knew they wanted a wedding in the place they call home. And since they both hail from the South and met while attending UGA, they wanted to make sure to evoke the feel of home. Working with Lindsay Pitt of Toast Events, they created an unforgettable evening featuring tons of Southern hospitality with a modern, city twist.

Atlanta’s skyline offered a beautiful backdrop for Kemper and Kevin’s big day.

A mix of Southern and modern, Kemper chose this breathtaking Jenny Pakham lace trimmed dress from Kelly’s Closet.

Genya of Vue Photography made sure to capture beautiful, modern images of Kemper in her wedding dress.

Since every Southern girl loves a pretty monogram, Kemper enlisted Hi Note Stationery to create a custom monogram of the couple’s initials that they carried throughout the wedding.

Their custom monogram was also added to their wedding ceremony programs, which were tied off with silk ribbons.

As a nod to Kemper’s Memphis roots, the floral designer, Jackson|Durham, infused cotton from Tennessee on Kevin and the groomsmen’s boutonnieres.

To mimic the boutonnieres, the floral designer added cotton to the bridesmaids bouquets as well.

Is there anything sweeter than the way a father looks at his daughter on her wedding day?

Kemper and Kevin were married in beautiful All Saints Episcopal Church in downtown Atlanta.

They continued their city celebration at one of Atlanta’s prettiest locations, the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.

The gardens with the skyline in the background made for a picture perfect city wedding.

Such a stunning picture featuring one of the Botanical Garden’s Chihuly sculptures.

The decor inside of the Botanical Gardens featured small vases filled to the brim with beautiful Summer flowers and votive candles in mercury vases.

Large, clear vases were also filled with flowers to give the room a bit of height and drama.

The beautiful wedding cake also featured touches of Tennessee cotton.

The happy couple joins their family in a toast.

And every bride must get up on stage with the band! The Atlanta Allstars had the guests dancing all night long.

The very happy couple!

And, they are off! Kemper and Kevin rode off in a old fashion Rolls Royce.
Thank you Kemper and Kevin for sharing your big day with us! We wish you a lifetime of happiness and joy!
