When it comes to shopping in Atlanta, it’s hard to sift through all the stores that have popped up lately, while still finding what you’re looking for. Don’t worry! We’ve done it for you, tracking down the most luxurious items for your home, your man and — most importantly — yourself! Whether you can afford them all, or window-shopping is all you’ve got, these are super fun to look at and swoon!
FOR THE HOME
Looking for a way to add a vintage-inspired accent to your home without rummaging through Grandma’s basement? You’re in luck! Pieces in Buckhead is full of classic modern furniture and accessories, making the hunt for the perfect touch much easier! Try this large, industrial pendant light for $1,580, which is guaranteed to add the perfect touch to any room.
The search for a sofa that is not only comfortable but also beautiful can be one big scavenger hunt — ending, most of the time, with you empty handed. Custom seems to be the way to go for the perfect look and feel, so we went to Lewis & Sheron Textiles. Our favorite choice was this gorgeous deep-set cream sofa for $5,295, with bright pillows to give it just a little pop of color.
Between lack of tabletop and floor space or just a lack of ceiling height, in general, the right lighting for a place in the city always seems to be such a hassle to find. This lucite lamp, $390 at Room & Board in West Midtown, is the answer to your lighting needs! With a seemingly invisible appearance, it creates the illusion of more space where there isn’t any.
There always seems to be a never-ending search for that unique piece no one else can say they have, making sticking to the same old Atlanta stores not an option. For something more than just a little different, we found a wood and leather chair, $3,945, from BuzziBoutique, a first-of-its-kind retail store carrying international, vintage and smart interior products.
Can’t quite put your finger on what’s missing from that room you just finished decorating? It’s all about the finishing touch, or “asterisk” as we call it, so we suggest this cool, modern tabletop accessory from Verde Home, $435, to get people talking about your new space.
FASHION & ACCESSORIES
Jeffrey has been a landmark fashion stop for years, so it’s no surprise we make it a point to stop in and drool over what’s new each season. This Chloe bag, $1,850, is a must for everyday use with an easy transition into a date night carryall.
Feather pendant necklace
Some nights it’s up to the jewelry to complete an outfit. For the perfect piece, we went straight to The Style Sanctum in Sandy Springs to find this local designer’s must-have diamond sphere and feather pendant necklace for $1,500.
Diamonds may be a girl’s best friend, but gemstones have us in a little more casual “Earth Mother” mindset that we’re loving these days. Planet Blue in The Shops Buckhead is where we found this Love Heals handmade gemstone necklace, $341, perfect for a cool festival vibe.
Minimalist sandals are in style this summer and what better way to follow suit than by grabbing one of the hottest picks from Toosties, found in the Shops Around Lenox. Accessories are what make an outfit and these Aquazzura red, strappy sandals, $785, are perfect for that final sophisticated yet playful touch.
Shopping for the style-savvy man can be difficult at times. If they want it, they have it; if someone else has it, they don’t want it. To solve this never-ending problem, we headed to Epitome in Buckhead where we found this seriously luxe leather hat by Heathen for $345.
You can always judge a man by his shoes, at least that’s what they say, right? Give your man a little push in the right direction with these double monks, $595, available at Sid Mashburn.
Don’t let your man pack in whatever bag he sees first — especially if it’s a garbage bag. Help get his stuff out the door with this cool canvas and leather backpack, $440, from Bradley Mountain at Citizen Supply in Ponce City Market. Versatile and easy to load, this is bound to get him excited to pack a little sooner (and, hopefully, neater).
BODY & SOUL
When searching for products that work well for you and your hair, there’s always a trade-off with the price you pay for the quality you get. We found this Oribe Imperial Transformative Styling Creme, $69, from Salon Red that’s guaranteed to give you some bang for your buck. Boasting long-lasting results and damage control after just one use, we’d say this is well worth the splurge.
We think having relaxation time is a must, so we headed to Little Barn Apothecary in search of the perfect way to enjoy a little downtime. We found this Peppermint + Sea Salt Detoxing Bath Salt, $28, that’s not only great for ending a long day of work, but it also has detox factors that add yet another reason to take time for yourself.
Not that we need another reason to indulge but research actually shows that chocolate is good for the mind, body and soul. In celebration of the news, we went to Corso Coffee and invested in their delectable hot chocolate, $40, in an attempt to keep our souls — and taste buds — satisfied. And let’s face it, hot chocolate is a needed treat all year long!
We know you’ve been working hard this summer carting the kids around and planning vacation after vacation, so don’t forget to treat yourself and visit our favorite Atlanta boutiques for some much-needed retail therapy. And remember: Tell them StyleBlueprint sent you!
