What to wear, what to wear. There are several black tie events in Nashville this month so we are featuring some pretty, full-length gowns in case you are in need of one. Next, with Listen To Your Mother and Wicked both at TPAC, we thought some “theatre” outfits might be nice to showcase. Lastly, the Symphony Fashion Show has a wide array of options, from after work cocktails to full on glitz. Hope you enjoy today’s window showing options!
April brings the Frist Gala, The Tennessee Waltz and The Hunt Ball (full length dresses) as well as The Promise Gala and The Hermitage Gala (cocktail length dresses) and many more black tie events. For those needing a full length gown, or even looking ahead to upcoming balls and galas, here are three that caught our eye from local boutiques JAMIE, Gus Mayer and The French Shoppe:
Wicked just opened, and we know many are eager to see this well known musical here at TPAC. Another TPAC event we are looking forward to is Listen to Your Mother on April 26th. There are also some fabulous concerts in April at The Schermerhorn Symphony Center. What to wear? Well, you won’t be turned away even if you are uber casual, but why not embrace the experience and dress up a bit. Here are a few outfits we spotted that we thought would be perfect for any of these shows. We found these at MODA, JAMIE and The French Shoppe:
April 29th brings a fabulous Tuesday night event: The Symphony Fashion Show. Be prepared to be wowed as Nashville showcases a runway show like no other. With Christian Siriano fashions on display, the symphony playing and then The Band Perry rocking the house, it’s sure to be a night you won’t soon forget! What to wear? Well, it’s a Tuesday and many are coming straight from work, so black suits and such will definitely be well embraced. But, you will also see fashionable Christian Siriano pieces and high-end cocktail dresses as well as super trendy jumpsuits and bright floral frocks. This is an event that you can play conservatively or you can glam it up! We found two dresses at Gus Mayer and one at The French Shoppe that may get your creative juices flowing!
Most of all, enjoy April. It’s a beautiful month in Nashville!
