Elaine Turner, Nashville’s Newest Boutique

We are so excited that the Elaine Turner boutique is opening today in Nashville, marking their first stand-alone boutique outside of Texas. We were able to score a pre-opening tour of this store, located in the Mall at Green Hills, and let’s just say, we all now have a big huge list of wants!

The Elaine Turner handbags appeal to all ages. Are you drooling? We are.

You may already be familiar with Elaine Turner, as this line of accessories is available at some of our favorite boutiques in each SB sister city. With an aggressive plan to open 50 boutiques in 5 years, the first store of these 50 is right here in Nashville, even before New York. Yes, Nashville is HOT!

Elaine Turner’s eponymous brand was launched in 2000 in Houston, Texas. Her inspiration comes from her many international family vacations and the want to capture a bit of that adventure and escapism for her customer’s everyday life.

Hello, gorgeous.

If I were to categorize this collection with similar brands, I would choose Tory Burch or Kate Spade as the price point and classic-with-a-modern-twist approach are appealing to a similar customer. The mix of materials and textures definitely brings in a luxurious element, but not at premium designer prices. Attainable luxury is the goal of Elaine Turner.

Her signature color is hot pink and those pink couches just beckon you to sit and try on shoes. This store embraces femininity, which is fun to be surrounded by.

We enjoyed getting an early peek, and here are some of our personal favorites:

Me (Liza) and Amy Norton (SB Managing Editor) checking out the fabulous bags.

Part of the “Tech Babe” collection, these iPad covers have the same attention to detail that the handbags and shoes do. $175.

Wallets, $175

The bamboo details on these leopard ballet flats caught our eye. $250.

This Ali washed leather bag is great. Take in the details…This bag goes from short shoulder to cross body and check out the details below…

We love the bamboo details found on almost all of the Elaine Turner bags. This tassel is pretty great as well. Ali bag is $450.

More tassels and bamboo.

Step back Alabama fans… this is brown and white, not the Alabama black and white houndstooth. But, now that Elaine is in SEC country, I bet some black and white houndstooth would sell crazy well. $325.

Shoes, $295

Phoebe Cheetah Haircalf, $450.

Again, the details…

Check out the jewelry while you are at Elaine Turner.

These wrap watches are right on trend.

SB readers know of our long love affair with the Claridge + King brand. As one of the C + K owners also lives in Houston, we loved seeing that Elaine Turner is supporting this brand by selling it in her stores.

Photos showing everyone how to set up the displays. As I write this, I know everything is coming together, perfectly!

As we were leaving, the window displays were shaping up with the Elaine Turner staff thinking through the final details.

Friday, by 10 AM, expect something very similar to this! Pink couches will beckon you in. Go, have fun, and celebrate that Nashville was chosen for this grand opening!

Stop on by and let them know you read about it on StyleBlueprint. Elaine Turner is located on the east side of the Mall at Green Hills, just past Panera and next to the Macy’s. And, for bargain hunters, I’m drooling over the summer selections on her site. Great deals: www.elaineturner.com

Oh, one more thing: Amy’s husband, Will, take note:

See this Elaine Turner bag?

I think it needs to be wrapped up and given to this amazing person!
