You know when you see something around town and you think “how cute is that?” I instantly thought that when I spotted one of these large poufs at Scout for the Home.
Made by Athens-based company Block and Brayer, these aren’t your typical poufs. We love their extra large size and their comfy cushion. And, we especially love their unique prints. The duo behind Block and Brayer began their business as a small block studio in 2009 producing hand blocked fabric for poufs and pillows.
And recently, they have transitioned to screen printing their fabric which results in fun, graphic and inviting prints. The artist of the pair, Hollis McFadden, creates the original block cut designs by hand and then designer Allison Harper steps in, picking out the perfect colors for the poufs and pillows. All of the fabrics are printed in the USA with environmentally friendly, water-based ink.
The poufs and pillows are perfect for kids’ rooms or your well-loved tv room, as the covers are removable and machine washable. They just introduced their new line of fabrics in December, and we are loving the graphic prints in neutral hues. Block and Brayer is carried exclusively at Scout for the Home and online. Their online store also has cute little pouches. Perfect for your makeup or jewelry!
